As disciples of Jesus, the purpose of the Outreach Ministry of Trinity Episcopal Church is to provide a taste of hope to everyone in Galveston County and beyond. As a team of caring facilitators, it is our goal to respond to the different needs of many. In our organizational practices and community service, we hope to incorporate Christian principles and are committed to a wide range of charitable, human service and community service activities.
As Stewards of Jesus, the MINISTRY is dedicated to provide gifts of time, talent and financial resources.
We, who are active members of the OUTREACH MINISTRY at Trinity Episcopal Church, strive to follow in the ways, teachings and traditions of Jesus, who showed us that He is “The way, the truth and the Life.” We believe our response is to live in that way and to be open, receptive and responsive to His call ‘to serve.’
We realize that Trinity is a large ‘Space’ and it might be easy to get lost or not find connections that are meaningful to you. We also understand that experiencing life with other people and walking alongside one another is the focus of living out the Gospel of Jesus; He gave it a name, discipleship.
Jesus began with a small group…..that small group altered the course of human history.
If you feel a call to engage in a more pastoral way, the OUTREACH MINISTRY is for you.
